Martin Gringer has been practicing labor and employment law since 1975 when he graduated from the New York University School of Law. After three years with the National Labor Relations Board, he entered private practice and since that time has been advising and representing employers in the areas of employment discrimination, sexual harassment, collective bargaining, arbitrations, employee benefits, wage and hour law, OSHA, union election campaigns, and restrictive employment covenants. A member of the bar of the Supreme Court of the United States, Martin has extensive federal court experience including having argued many times before the United States Court of Appeals for the Second, Third and D.C. Circuits. In spite of his reputation as a litigator, Martin firmly believes that the best results are those that are obtained without litigation. He constantly advocates to his clients the use of employee handbooks, progressive discipline and training of supervisors in order to prevent problems from arising. Martin has represented clients in such diverse industries as health care, real estate, electronics, retail, commercial baking, dairy, construction, trucking, restaurants and hotels.
