Steven Elliot Cohen practices in the areas of corporate law, real estate, matrimonial and family law, and commercial litigation.  He has successfully litigated cases in federal and state courts throughout New York State and in courts from coast-to-coast since 1986. Some of his successful cases have been cited in legal research texts and reported on the front page of The New York Law Journal. Steve also utilizes his wealth of litigation experience to guide him in drafting and negotiating documents for his clients, as he is aware of the drafting omissions and errors of other attorneys which have resulted in litigation. In addition to his responsive approach to legal matters, Steve also offers preventive counsel to his clients and has lectured before the public as well.
