Daniel F. Carrascal
Daniel F. Carrascal is a graduate of the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Before his work in the legal field, Danny completed a Master of Science degree in Hospitality Management at Florida International University’s Chapin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management and worked in the restaurant/hospitality industry in Miami, Florida for over ten years. This work allowed him to acquire knowledge and practical experience in labor and employment matters related to wage and hour law, unemployment insurance, workers’ compensation, OSHA and other regulations.
Danny served as an Associate Editor of the Hofstra Law Review. He was also awarded the Samuel M. Kaynard Memorial Summer Fellowship in Labor and Employment Law, which gave him the opportunity to complete an internship at the Manhattan office of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). He also completed an externship at the national headquarters of the NLRB in Washington, D.C.
Danny is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, and the Long Island Hispanic Bar Association.
